Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash enjoyed a rare date day together at the F1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone on Sunday, joined by an unexpected guest: Stacey's ex-partner and 'baby daddy' Dean Cox. The couple, who have been together since 2010, shared glimpses of their family outing on Instagram, where Stacey has over 6 million followers.
Family affair at Silverstone
Stacey, 35, posted a series of photos and videos from the event, including a loved-up mirror selfie with Joe before heading out. She captioned the post: 'Mum and dad. Date day with you. Doesn’t matter what they say, to the moon and back @joeswash. A rare day for us. Joe’s sister has kindly taken the pickles out for the day (we love you Cassie). And we are off somewhere we’ve never been to before but always wanted to go. SO excited!! Happy Sunday Everyone Lovvveee uuuu alll.'
The couple dressed casually for the occasion: Stacey in a white vest top, blue jeans, white trainers, and sunglasses on her head, while Joe wore a white t-shirt, black trousers, and white trainers. They were also joined by Stacey's father, David, and her ex-partner Dean Cox with his new wife.
Ex-partner joins the celebration
In a video shared to her Instagram Stories, Stacey explained the full guest list: 'What's a date with your husband if your dad's not there. Do you know who is really important to bring on a date day with your husband, your last baby daddy and his wife. Zach's dad, Zach's step mum, my dad are all on this date with us.' Dean Cox is the father of Stacey's eldest son, Zachary, 18.
The family enjoyed the hospitality area at Silverstone, drinking champagne as they watched the race. Stacey shared a video congratulating winner Charles LeClerc of Ferrari, while Britain's George Russell (Mercedes) and Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari) finished second and third.
Rumours squashed
The outing comes after speculation earlier this year when Stacey was spotted without her wedding ring. However, the Loose Women star addressed the rumours in her caption, saying she loves Joe 'to the moon and back'. The couple share three children: Rex, seven, Rose, four, and Belle, two, and are step-parents to Zachary, Leighton (13), and Joe's son Harry (18).
