Stacey Solomon has sent a defiant message about her marriage to Joe Swash, months after rumours surfaced that their relationship was on the rocks. The couple, who married at their Essex home, Pickle Cottage, in 2022, faced speculation earlier this year, with Stacey even being asked on national TV why she didn't always wear her wedding ring.
Stacey's Response to Rumours
Stacey addressed the rumours in a series of Instagram Story videos, telling her millions of followers she would step back from sharing for a while. She returned at the end of April and has since appeared happier than ever with Joe and their family, which includes their three children together—Rex, Rose, and Belle—and Stacey's two eldest sons, Zachary and Leighton, from previous relationships.
Speaking on the Sort Your Life Out Unpacked podcast, Stacey said: "Who cares if the whole world is like: 'Oh, they’re on the brink of divorce?' Being in the public eye I think creates certain pressures, but not on our relationship because half the time what they’re saying, 'If we know it’s not true, who cares?'"
Date Day Declaration
Over the weekend, Stacey shared pictures of a special 'date day' with Joe on Instagram. The Sort Your Life Out host wrote: "Mum & dad date day with you. Doesn’t matter what they say, to the moon and back @joeswash." She added: "A rare day for us. Joe’s sister has kindly taken the pickles out for the day (we love you Cassie). And we are off somewhere we’ve never been to before but always wanted to go. SO excited!!"
Surprise Addition to the Date
Stacey later revealed that her dad, David Solomon, joined them as they headed to Silverstone for the Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix 2026. She also shared that her ex, Zachary's dad, and his wife joined the outing. In an Instagram Story video, Stacey quipped: "Do you know who is really important to bring on a date day with your husband? Your last baby daddy and his wife!" Joe interjected: "And your dad!"
Stacey previously addressed the rumours on the podcast, saying: "Sometimes I fancy the pants off him and can't wait to come home to see him. Sometimes I’m like: 'Get out of my stratosphere – stay away from me.' I think we’re just like any other couple." The couple's defiant message appears to have shut down the speculation, as they continue to show their love for each other publicly.
