Stacey Solomon has broken her silence after failing to win at the National Television Awards (NTAs), where she was nominated twice in the Factual Entertainment category for her BBC shows Sort Your Life Out and Stacey & Joe. The award went to Prime Video's Clarkson's Farm.
Despite the double blow, the 35-year-old appeared in high spirits on Instagram, posting a video compilation of her evening. She wrote: 'It's never about the destination. It all about who you spend the journey with. we didn't win any awards last night but it feels like we won.' She thanked her family and the teams behind both shows.
Before the ceremony, Solomon criticised the NTAs for placing both her shows in the same category, calling it 'ludicrous'. This follows a similar reaction after her BAFTA loss earlier this year, where she admitted feeling 'devastated' for her team.
Solomon presented the Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award alongside husband Joe Swash, which went to Michael McIntyre's Big Show.
