Sophie Kasaei and Jordan Brook Host Lavish Baby Shower with TOWIE and Geordie Shore Stars
Sophie Kasaei and Jordan Brook's Lavish Baby Shower

Sophie Kasaei and Jordan Brook celebrated the impending arrival of their first child together with a lavish baby shower on Sunday, surrounded by their loved ones. The couple, who began dating in 2022, announced they were expecting at Christmas, before revealing they were having a baby boy in January with an extravagant gender party.

Opulent Event Details

Ahead of Sophie's due date in June, the pair threw another opulent event, attended by a host of their TOWIE and Geordie Shore co-stars. Sophie, 36, cut a radiant figure for the bash, displaying her blossoming bump in a light blue dress, while Jordan, 31, coordinated in a matching shirt. No expense was spared for the lavish occasion, which was organised by Geordie Shore star Abbie Holborn.

Abbie pulled out all the stops for the floral-themed bash with huge bouquets of white flowers displayed on the walls and tables, and a sign that read: 'Baby Brook in Bloom'. There was also a dedicated dessert station, laden with personalised cupcakes, chocolate covered strawberries and cake pops, as well as an ice cream machine with a variety of toppings.

Photo Opportunities and Entertainment

In a perfect touch for an influencer-filled party, there were plenty of photo opportunities set up, including a personalised telephone box and Vogue magazine cover for stars to pose with. Guests were also treated to live music performances and took to the dancefloor to sing along to performances from a saxophonist and a powerhouse singer. Dad-to-be Jordan also took a turn showing off his vocals, grabbing the mic to sweetly serenade Sophie with a rendition of Elton John's classic, 'Your Song'.

Humorous Cake

In a switch-up from the elegant and colour-matched decor, the cake for the party was designed to look like the moment of birth and handmade by Teen Mom UK star Mia Boardman. The hilarious cake was covered in flesh-coloured icing and adorned with a plastic baby's head emerging out the top, with red and brown sprinkles for an added touch of realism. Sharing a snap of the confectionary, Sophie raved of Mia's talents and quipped: 'I think you should open a cake business with this work of art.'

Celebrity Guests

Among those enjoying the sit-down meal and indulging in free-flowing champagne were TOWIE stars Harry Derbridge, Amber Turner, Dani Imbert and Amy Childs, who shared a snap with Sophie and gushed: 'I love this baby so much already'. Sophie's cousin Marnie Simpson was also in attendance, as well as her Geordie Shore pal Chloe Ferry, who documented the party on her Instagram and gushed: 'Baby shower for @sophiekasaei_ no one deserves it more than you'.

Games and Activities

Abbie ran several games throughout the party, as well as leaving out question cards for people to make guesses about the baby's name and weight and show how well they knew Sophie. The expectant mother looked on cloud nine throughout the shower and later took to her Instagram to gush: 'I feel like the luckiest girl in the world'. Jordan shared a snap of Sophie to his own Instagram and captioned it: 'My everything in a photo. You are amazing.'

Background: Fertility Battle and Health Scare

The couple's baby joy came after a two-year fertility battle and a chemical pregnancy - a very early pregnancy loss that usually happens just after the embryo implants. While the baby shower comes only a few weeks after Jordan was able to return home after being hospitalised for three weeks with viral meningitis and encephalitis. The TOWIE star had been diagnosed with inflammation of the membranes around the brain and spinal cord lining in March. He also contracted encephalitis, a rarer and more serious inflammation of the brain itself that can be life-threatening. But after spending 22 days in hospital, Jordan was finally able to be discharged this month to reunite with his pregnant girlfriend in time for Easter.
