Sofia Vergara has caught World Cup fever and made it look sensational. The Modern Family star, 53, flaunted her gorgeous physique in a yellow Colombia top as she posed for a photo to cheer on her native team.
Sofia Vergara Shows Support for Colombia
Taking to her Instagram story on Wednesday evening (June 17), Sofia showed her fans who she was backing in the World Cup. This year's tournament is being played in the US, and she was proud to support South America's Colombia in her latest video.
In the clip, the America's Got Talent judge soaked up the sun in her pristine trimmed garden. She pouted for the camera, wearing a top styled in the colors of the Colombian flag. Resting her right hand on the back of her head, she let her luscious light brown hair cascade down her back as she took the sexy clip. She also wore a full face of makeup, helping to make her hazel eyes pop in the summer sun.
Written on the top was the word 'Colombiana' — the Spanish word for a woman from Colombia. She finished off the post with a patriotic sticker of the flag with a football in front of it.
Excitement Before the Match
She then jumped up and down in excitement as she geared up for Colombia's first match in the tournament. She said in Spanish: 'I've got everything ready for tonight!' as she bounced around the garden.
Colombia would end up smashing their first game, winning 3-1 against Uzbekistan in Mexico City. The team scored their third goal in a thrilling moment just seconds before the final whistle blew.
Family Dilemmas
Sofia has been gearing up for the World Cup before the tournament even started, starring alongside fellow Hollywood star Owen Wilson to drum up excitement. She has also admitted she will be backing Colombia until the very end but confessed she was now facing an unexpected problem.
Speaking to People, Vergara admitted she is finding it hard to decide which family members she will be able to watch the games with. She joked: 'It's been good and bad because, like, for example, I'm going to be able to watch some games with them together.
'We're going to be able to do what we do when we come together, which is eat and put together the family and everything,' she added. 'It's also created some problems because I am going to be able to go to some games, and I cannot get all of them in the games.'
Sofia went on to say: 'It's been kind of like a little bit of a struggle to pick who deserves to go to the World Cup. But it's all been fun!'
