Sofia Vergara has revealed her openness to undergoing extensive cosmetic procedures in the future. The 51-year-old actress, best known for her role in Modern Family, told Allure magazine that she intends to pursue every plastic surgery available when she is ready.
“I’m going to do every plastic surgery that I can do when I’m ready,” Vergara said. She explained that her busy work schedule has prevented her from having surgery so far, as she cannot afford weeks of recovery time while working in front of the camera.
Vergara has been a regular user of Botox, which she receives in her neck and around her eyes. However, she is not a fan of dermal fillers, stating: “At my age – 51 – I feel it’s not going to make you look younger. It is going to make you look more done.”
The star said she believes in taking advantage of modern cosmetic treatments to combat ageing. “I’m going to fight it every step of the way,” she declared, adding that she does not see herself ever embracing grey hair naturally.
Vergara also emphasised the importance of sunscreen for maintaining healthy skin, noting that she can see the difference compared to friends who neglected sun protection.
