Sinitta has revealed that she has been secretly dating a man for years. The 62-year-old So Macho singer, who recently appeared on I'm A Celebrity...South Africa, admitted on Loose Women that she has a partner who is not in showbusiness.
Speaking on the Bank Holiday edition of the show, Sinitta explained that she and her partner decided to step back from the public eye once she knew she would be entering the jungle. 'He's much more afraid than I am,' she said. 'When I knew I was doing the jungle, we kind of stepped back a bit because he's not in show business.'
Describing her partner, Sinitta said: 'He's a character, he's a funny guy, a Leeds lad. He's got a lot of personality but he's just not used to the industry.' She added that she wanted to protect him from the pressures of showbiz, saying: 'I found my little Harry Redknapp.'
The singer famously dated Simon Cowell on and off for more than 20 years, ending their relationship in 2013. She admitted on the show that she 'genuinely believed they were going to get married,' but it wasn't to be. 'He wasn't a faithful boyfriend,' she said. 'I think I romanticise everything.'
Sinitta has also been linked to Brad Pitt and David Essex, and was married to Andy Willner from 2002 to 2010, with whom she adopted two children.
