Simon Cowell has revealed he will never leave the UK for good, citing his love for fish and chips as a key reason. The music mogul, who spends most of the year at his Los Angeles mansion, insists he remains committed to his home country.
Speaking ahead of his return to the Britain's Got Talent panel, Cowell said: 'I love fish and chips, proper curry and I love working with an English audience. I’m not one of those Brits who went off to America and said I’m not coming back, I would never do that. I come back to recharge my British batteries.'
The 52-year-old returns to the judging panel alongside Amanda Holden after a year-long absence. He described the unpredictability of the auditions as the highlight of the show, adding that he is often surprised by contestants who 'blow you away' when least expected.
