Sharon Osbourne left a bar in her late husband Ozzy's hometown stunned as she made a shock appearance. The 73-year-old headed down to Merlin's Cafe Bar in Birmingham to enjoy a bottle of Hobsons Brewery's Patient Number 9, which was released on July 22 to mark Ozzy Osbourne Day.
Bar visit goes viral
A video shared by the bar over the weekend saw Sharon getting the bottle from the fridge and enjoying a sip. Sharing a video of the moment, the bar wrote on Instagram: "STILL NOT OVER THIS: SHARON OSBOURNE ACCEPTED A JOB AT MERLIN'S!"
"During the incredible buildup to World Ozzy Day on July 22nd, we had the absolute privilege of welcoming rock royalty herself, @sharonosbourne Sharon Osbourne, through our doors at Merlin's Café Bar. While showing her around, pouring her a bottle of Patient Number 9, and showing off our memorial wall, Martin cheekily asked if she fancied joining the crew and taking a shift behind the bar…and without skipping a beat, SHE SAID YES!"
Memorial wall and fan tributes
On top of having a fan mail box and hosting events in honour of Ozzy, the bar has a memorial wall which contains lots of pictures of the late rocker. The comments section of the post saw a number of fans praising Sharon for her appearance and continuing to pay their respects to Ozzy.
