Pyjama Man Strikes Again: Ariana Grande Ambushed by Serial Celebrity Pest
Serial pest Johnson Wen ambushes Ariana Grande in Singapore

Notorious serial pest Johnson Wen, infamously known as 'Pyjama Man', has stunned the entertainment world once again by ambushing global superstar Ariana Grande on the red carpet in Singapore.

The Singapore Premiere Shock

The alarming incident occurred on Thursday at Universal Studios Singapore during the premiere of Grande's latest film, Wicked: For Good. Shocking footage widely circulated online shows Wen lunging at the pop icon, throwing his arm around her as she visibly struggled to break free from his grasp.

Before security personnel could intervene, Cynthia Erivo, who stars as Elphaba in the film, bravely stepped between her co-star and the intruder, appearing to shout at Wen while physically blocking his path. Security guards subsequently dragged Wen away from the scene, leaving a clearly shaken Ariana Grande to be comforted by her colleague.

A History of Disruption

This latest stunt is far from an isolated incident for Wen, who has developed a notorious reputation for invading high-profile events. In a resurfaced interview with Fox 101.9's Fifi, Fev and Nick from 2024, Wen openly admitted he has no intention of curbing his disruptive behaviour.

The interview took place after Wen stormed the stage during Canadian rapper The Weeknd's Melbourne concert, where he prophetically declared his plans to continue such invasions despite public criticism. "I've had a few people come up to me and were like: 'You should stop doing that. What about your fines and your career in the future?'" he explained. "I was like: 'No way!' I'm literally the best pitch invader/streaker. I'll probably keep doing it but I might take a break."

No Remorse for His Actions

When questioned by host Fifi Box about what motivated his stage invasion at The Weeknd's concert, Wen simply stated he wanted to meet the artist. "The Weeknd is like the biggest artist on Spotify. When I got an early entry ticket, that was my plan," he revealed.

Co-host Brendan Fevola directly challenged Wen about whether he felt any remorse for potentially wrecking the concert experience for other fans and putting the artist at risk. Wen's response was unequivocal: he admitted knowing his actions were wrong but simply didn't care about the consequences.

Wen's celebrity ambushes extend beyond music events to major sporting occasions, having streaked across stadiums during the 100m Olympic Final in Paris and the 2023 Cricket World Cup. His track record also includes invading stages during performances by The Chainsmokers and Katy Perry during their Australian tours.

The serial pest revealed that his stunts have resulted in fines reaching up to $10,000, which his family has sometimes helped him pay. Despite previously working in solar panel installation and trade work, Wen continues to prioritise his invasive behaviour, claiming he feels "like I'm flying toward the sky" when executing his plans.

With his latest high-profile target successfully ambushed and his stated determination to continue, security teams at celebrity events worldwide will likely be watching closely for the man known as Pyjama Man.
