Pregnant Scarlett Moffatt Teases Football-Inspired Baby Name After England World Cup Win
Scarlett Moffatt Hints at Football Baby Name After England Win

Scarlett Moffatt has opened up about her pregnancy and football-related baby name ideas after England's successful start to their World Cup campaign. The I'm A Celebrity winner is expecting her second child with fiancé Scott Dobinson, and the couple already have a son named Jude.

Football-Themed Baby Name Teased

Speaking to the Mirror, the 35-year-old teased that one of their three chosen names has a football connection. When asked if there might be a 'Harry' inspired by captain Harry Kane, she laughed: 'We've got three names picked, and one of them actually is a football name. One of the names we had to cancel out because Jude couldn't pronounce it properly. I was like, 'No, that'll get on my nerves, that's a sign.' But we keep trying to use it in different situations to see which one feels natural.'

Scarlett clarified that Jude is named after Jude Law, not the England midfielder, but added: 'Jude Bellingham is a good namesake... I really think Jude Bellingham is the standout! I also feel like what this is going to incur is lots of other kids called Jude, so Jude will be little Jude or tall Jude.'

Pregnancy Journey and Family Life

Scarlett announced her pregnancy in April after returning from I'm A Celebrity All-Stars. She admitted this pregnancy has been harder than her first, saying: 'The first pregnancy with Jude, I honestly felt like, 'Gosh, I don't even know why people moan about this!' I had no symptoms... This time around, I've been surviving rather than thriving. It has been hard work.'

The couple met over a decade ago but began their romance in 2019. They welcomed son Jude in 2023 and got engaged later that year.

Watching the World Cup at Home

Scarlett is watching the World Cup from her sofa, using Freely TV to catch the late matches. She explained: 'It's coming home, I'm staying home because all the matches are so late. So I shall be watching on my Freely TV, because it's the easiest way to watch TV.' She added that she's 'quietly cheering' to avoid waking her son, but internally she's screaming with excitement.

She reminisced about watching matches as a child: 'I remember watching matches when I was a kid, and my dad throwing us up in the air and getting excited. It's nice to have those memories.'
