Sasha Attwood has broken her social media silence since giving birth to her daughter, sharing a series of intimate photographs with her followers. The 28-year-old and her partner Jack Grealish welcomed their first child earlier this month, and have now offered a glimpse into their new life as parents.
The couple, who have been together since their teenage years, announced the arrival of their daughter with a black-and-white image showing the newborn gripping her father's finger. The accompanying caption read: "27/09/24. Mila Rose Grealish. The most special moment of my life."
In her latest Instagram update, Attwood shared pictures from her "baby shower of dreams", which had a cherry theme. The celebration included an afternoon tea with cherry-inspired decorations, customised biscuits, ribbons and cherry-red tableware. She also posted a photograph of a lavish pink and rose floral arrangement set against a backdrop reading "she's here".
Fans were quick to congratulate the new mother, with one writing: "The most amazing memory. Enjoy every moment and soak on them newborn cuddles. It goes way too fast." Another commented: "Such a gorgeous mommy you are Sasha!"
Grealish, 29, recently spoke about the birth, describing it as the "best moment" of his life. He explained that Attwood had a scan on a Friday morning and discovered the baby would arrive a few weeks early, prompting him to leave training and travel to London. After the birth that afternoon, he flew to Newcastle to play in a match the following day, saying: "It was an unbelievable 24 hours."
