Sandra Bullock caused hysterics in The One Show studio after making a racy comment about co-star Nicole Kidman as the pair continue to promote their new film Practical Magic 2.
Speaking to Angela Bell and Lauren Laverne on the show on Thursday night, the pair discussed their witchy characters, sisters Gillian and Sally Owens, who audiences were first introduced to 28 years ago.
Returning to whimsical characters
Now they have returned to the characters nearly three decades later, and Nicole, 59, reminisced that she loved playing a character that was so whimsical and free-spirited: "I love playing that part, because I don't get to do that that often. So suddenly I get to be the whimsical one, the one whose like 'let's have some fun!'".
"See that's how I see her in real life, I see her as that person," said Sandra, 62, about Nicole. "That's what I admire most about her. She's so incredibly free and just brave to do things that I would say, 'No, I'm going to stay home. I'm good right here where I am.'"
Cheeky innuendo and laughter
Host Lauren Laverne replied referencing a scene that saw Nicole rip down Sandra's trousers: "I love how Nicole is like 'the pants-ing roles don't come around often enough', but this is a really good one!"
"There's only one person that would let me pants her! And here she is," joked Nicole.
Sandra then made a cheeky innuendo as she said: "Anytime she wants, publicly or privately, do it.... But when I see her coming into her room, I'm like, 'My pants are going down.'"
The pair then burst out in hysterics together as Nicole pretended she was about to try and rip her trousers down there on the couch.
Promoting the sequel
The duo appeared on the red carpet for the European premiere of the film on Wednesday night to celebrate their return to the nostalgia-packed sequel to their 1998 cult classic.
The film is set to be released on September 11 and sees the pair battling to break the 300-year-old curse that dooms any man who falls in love with an Owens woman to an untimely death.
They were joined on the red carpet by an all-star cast, including Joey King and Maisie Williams, who play Sandra's character's daughters. Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing also reprised their roles in the film, and Susanne Bier joins the film as the director, having previously worked on Bird Box with Sandra and The Perfect Couple with Nicole.
