Safiyya Vorajee has broken her silence after her ex-partner Ashley Cain revealed he is expecting his third child, three years after the death of their daughter Azaylia. The 36-year-old influencer posted a reflective message on Instagram hours after Cain, 34, shared his happy news.
In a caption accompanying a photo of herself in a black dress on a garden bench, Vorajee wrote about 'the power of healing and kindness'. She said: 'Working towards my dreams with purpose. I’m embracing the power of healing, kindness, and helping others along the way. Every step is part of my journey of growth, balance, and resilience.'
Vorajee added: 'The path may not always be easy, but it is mine and I will walk it with courage, hope, and unwavering faith in what’s to come.' Her comments come after Cain announced on Thursday that he is expecting a baby boy, posting on Instagram: 'My little girl will soon have another little brother to watch over.'
Azaylia, who was born to Cain and Vorajee, died from leukaemia in April 2021 at eight months old. Cain welcomed a son, Aliyas, with a new partner in January 2023, though he has since said they are no longer together romantically but co-parent amicably. It is unclear if the mother of his unborn child is the same woman.
