Safiyya Vorajee, the former partner of reality star Ashley Cain, has revealed she is in a new relationship. The couple split in 2022 following the tragic death of their baby daughter, Azaliya, who died from leukaemia. Safiyya, 38, who co-founded the Azaliya Cain Foundation with Ashley to fight childhood cancer, has now found love again after a summer of 'healing' in Bali.
New partner revealed
Sharing a loved-up photo cuddled up to her new man, Safiyya told her followers that the universe had intervened during her holiday. The new partner has been identified as Dutch influencer Virgil Sint Jago, a fitness coach known for his travel adventures and appearances on reality TV shows, including the Dutch competition show Muscles & Brains.
Safiyya, who reportedly met the personal trainer while on holiday in Indonesia, told fans: "Happy the universe changed my direction from Thailand to Bali. In a world that’s so big we met exactly where we were meant to feel so happy. God always gets the timing right. Trust in him always. The most magical connection when you feel it in your soul."
Healing journey
The former dental nurse also spoke about her healing process, saying: "This place has become home to a part of me I thought I’d lost forever. The beauty, the people, the energy… it’s impossible to put into words. There’s something so magical here that has healed parts of my soul I didn’t even realise were still hurting."
Revealing she had made 'lifelong connections', she continued: "I’ve grown so much. My nervous system has finally experienced what real calm feels like. I’ve let my guard down, allowed myself to be vulnerable, and in doing that, I’ve found friendships and connections that have changed me forever. For the first time in a long time, I’m choosing me. I’m choosing peace. I’m choosing joy. I’m choosing to believe that life still has beautiful chapters waiting for me."
She signed off: "Bali isn’t just a destination. It’s a feeling. And somehow, it reminded me who I was before the world broke my heart. The next chapter is coming and this one feels exciting."
Past relationship with Ashley Cain
Safiyya was in a relationship with Ex On The Beach star Ashley Cain from 2017 until 2022. The pair announced their split in March 2022, with Ashley describing it as "an incredibly tough decision". In a statement on Instagram, he wrote: "After a devastating and heartbreaking year, Safiyya and I decided to separate a few months ago. This was an incredibly though decision which we needed to keep to ourselves for some time to give us the opportunity to figure out our own journey privately."
