Ruth Langsford celebrated her 66th birthday in style during a girls' trip to Cannes, according to friend Lizzie Cundy. The television presenter, who split from Eamonn Holmes in May 2024 after 14 years of marriage, was described as 'living her best life' on the sunny French Riviera.
Speaking on the Best Suddenly Single podcast, Lizzie Cundy said: 'It was gorgeous, south of France, Cannes. It was stunning. There were clubs, bars, restaurants. We had great fun.' She added that Ruth looked 'fabulous, better than ever' and that the pair enjoyed a beach day on her birthday.
The revelation comes weeks after Ruth admitted to seeking therapy following her separation from Eamonn. On the Happy Place podcast, she described counselling as 'the best thing I’ve ever done', noting it helped her navigate the end of her marriage without taking sides.
Ruth and Eamonn, both 66, share a son, Jack, 23. The former couple co-hosted This Morning together before their split. Ruth recently released a memoir titled Feeling Fabulous.
