Rochelle Humes has dubbed herself a 'nepo mum' as she revealed her 13-year-old daughter Alai-Mai is doing work experience for her as a content creator.
Daughter's career ambitions
The 37-year-old - who also shares daughter Valentina, nine, and five-year-old son Blake with husband Marvin Humes - said her eldest doesn't want to follow her famous parents into the world of music or TV presenting.
Instead, Alai-Mai has her sights set on becoming a social media influencer when she's older - despite not having an account herself at the moment due to the upcoming social media ban for under 16s.
Celebrity offspring trend
She's the latest celebrity offspring to choose this as a potential career path. Other famous kids already doing this include Harper Beckham, 15, Venezuela Fury, 16, and Princess Andre, 19. And the proud mum-of-three says she has no problem giving Alai-Mai a bit of a leg up.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Rochelle shared: "Next week, Alaia-Mai is doing a week of work experience with me. She wants to be a content creator - the girl who isn't allowed any social media - which is ironic.
"But she loves Shannon [Rochelle's personal content creator]. She thinks she is so cool, and Shannon is off on holiday, and Alaia-Mai was like, 'Can I do Shannon's job?'
And I was like, 'Okay, the team will write you a brief'. So she has been reading the brief while on a caravan holiday with my mum. They are currently on a 10-day caravan holiday - I'm actually really jealous." Rochelle added: "I want to be a nepo mum! I'm like, go do your thing!"
Rochelle's own career
Rochelle was 12 - a year younger than Alai-Mai is now - when she shot to fame in 2001 as part of pop group S Club Juniors.
Despite declaring she was "never that good at singing or dancing anyway", Rochelle went on to achieve more success with The Saturdays, alongside Una Healy, Molly King, Frankie Bridge and Vanessa White.
The band split in 2014 and since then, she has carved out a successful career as a TV presenter, hosting shows like This Morning alongside JLS star husband Marvin, who is also a presenter these days.
She also fronted Ninja Warrior UK, The Xtra Factor, The Hit List and The Next Great Magician.
Beyond presenting
Today, Rochelle - who also hosts the Ladies Who Lunch podcast - is not only one of TV's most recognisable faces, but the founder of leading children's skincare and toiletries brand My Little Coco. Yet despite years in the spotlight, she recently revealed that people still often underestimate her.
Speaking on her podcast she said: "I knew absolutely nothing about business when I started. I left school without GCSEs because I was busy being in S Club 8.
I spent so much of my career with people thinking I wasn't switched on. They'd talk to the person next to me and assume they were the one with the ideas. While they're doing that, I'm taking notes, I'm getting busy, and I'm one step ahead. I actually like that people think I’m a bimbo."
