Rita Ora has been soaking up the sun across Europe, and her latest Instagram snaps show her posing on a yacht and swimming in the ocean. The singer, known for hits like "Hot Right Now," recently visited Ibiza with her husband Taika Waititi and friends.
Yacht holiday in style
The couple weren't exactly backpacking, as they've been holidaying on a luxury yacht. Rita posed for several photos on and off the vessel, wearing bikinis that highlighted her figure. One snap caught her in a silver bikini while enjoying a dip in the sea, another showed her on the boat's stairs, and a third captured her looking glamorous during an evening meal.
She captioned the pictures: "Summer so far pt 1."
Descendants premiere and reunion
Rita recently wowed at the premiere of her Disney film Descendants: Wicked Wonderland in Los Angeles, California. She plays the Queen of Hearts in the movie and reunited with her director husband Taika Waititi at the event. It was their first public appearance together in months, as their work schedules have kept them apart. The pair married in 2022, and she has described them as "basically just best friends."
Discussing the movie, Rita said: "I’ve always felt like I had that villain Queen of Hearts strain. In this movie she is nicer, but is she really? I love that the Queen of Hearts has two sides to her." She added: "She will do anything to protect her babies. She has an extra baby in this one so I have two girls now. You never know what to expect with Descendants storylines. There are so many different characters that it could go in any direction."
Behind the scenes with Brandy
Rita revealed at the premiere that she and fellow singer Brandy, who plays Cinderella, got into "so much naughty stuff" behind the scenes. The star, who is stepmum to Taika's two daughters, also said they bonded over their motherly instincts. She explained: "I really tapped into my motherly instinct in this movie because we find out that I have another daughter in this new sort of universe. I will do anything to protect my kids."
Rita continued: "Me and Brandy really bonded on that. The Queen of Hearts and Cinderella are very close in this franchise as well, especially in this movie. I had a blast really kind of showing a different side of Queen of Hearts."
