QVC host Toni Brattin had a mortifying moment on live television when she accidentally uttered a sexually explicit phrase while trying to sell a $100 wig. The slip occurred as she was describing the hairpiece's wave pattern, and she instead said, 'It looks like you went and got a blow job.'
Realizing her mistake, she quickly attempted to correct herself, saying, 'A blowout…' but the damage was done. With her back turned to the camera, she muttered, 'Oh, my god,' before starting to giggle. Her co-host tried to steer the segment back on track, mentioning a huge beauty sale, but Toni was still laughing and dropped to her knees, melting onto the floor to avoid distracting viewers.

The incident quickly went viral on social media. On X, @Cassetta13 joked, 'Live TV still hits different…“It looks like you went and got a blow job at your… a blowout at your Salon.” She said it. Straight up. Then tried to keep going like nothing happened while the whole set was dying.'
@sage1411 added, 'A blow job? That was some slip of the tongue,' while @Xavier_ThatsAll laughed, 'She couldn’t even turn around. I can’t blame her.'
Not the first TV gaffe
Toni isn't the only TV host to make an embarrassing mistake live on air. BBC newsreader Simon McCoy once appeared to present the news holding a ream of printer paper, having confused it with his iPad just before broadcast. A BBC spokesperson confirmed at the time, 'This morning as Simon McCoy was preparing to introduce this story, instead of picking up his tablet to hold as he went to air, he mistakenly picked up a ream of paper that was sitting next to it. In the rush of live news, he didn’t have an opportunity to swap the items, so simply went with it.'
