The Princess of Wales has been named the best-dressed person in Britain for 2026 by fashion and lifestyle magazine Tatler. The 44-year-old royal previously topped the list in 2022.
Return to the Spotlight
Kate was praised for her return to public life after taking a break from royal duties in 2024 due to a cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment. Tatler hailed her as “Britain’s chicest figure” and noted she is “back to health – and back to being a Brit-fashion heroine.” Her fashion choices, including a bold yellow outfit at Royal Ascot, a grass-green dress at Wimbledon, and a baby blue frock at Trooping the Colour, were highlighted.
Other Notable Entries
Actor Edward Bluemel, 33, known for roles in Killing Eve and upcoming as Hercule Poirot, placed fourth with Tatler praising his “London cool-boy look.” The highest-placed man, he is described as “set to be the youngest (possibly handsomest) Hercule Poirot ever.”
In second place was doctor and health-content creator Dr Raj Arora, praised for making “medical scrubs look chic.” Third went to British athlete Temi Ojora, celebrated for her “TikTok-approved Y2K ensembles.”
Gjin Lipa, brother of popstar Dua Lipa, placed fifth for his style at the Brit Awards afterparty. Actress Hannah Dodd, known for Bridgerton, ranked tenth. Arts patron Batia Ofer and TV producer Jemima Khan were sixth and seventh. Valentina Pinault, daughter of Salma Hayek, placed eighth, and Sir Tristram Hunt, director of the V&A, was ninth.
The full top 25 list appears in Tatler’s September issue, out on August 6.
