The Princess of Wales has topped Tatler magazine's list of Britain's best-dressed people for 2026. The 44-year-old royal was praised for her return to the spotlight after taking a break from royal duties in 2024 due to a cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Return to Fashion Icon Status
Tatler hailed Catherine as “Britain’s chicest figure” whose fashion choices “light up royal occasions”. She previously topped the list in 2022. The publication noted she is “back to health – and back to being a Brit-fashion heroine”.
Notable Outfits in 2026
The princess turned heads at Royal Ascot this year wearing a bold yellow outfit with a matching hat. At the Wimbledon final earlier this month, she opted for a sophisticated grass-green dress, and for Trooping the Colour in June, she chose a timeless baby blue frock.
Top Five and Other Notable Names
The highest-placed man on the list was actor Edward Bluemel, known for roles in Killing Eve and My Lady Jane, who came fourth. Tatler noted he is “set to be the youngest (possibly handsomest) Hercule Poirot ever” and praised his 90s-inspired “London cool-boy look”.
In second place was doctor and health content creator Dr Raj Arora, described as making “medical scrubs look chic”. British athlete Temi Ojora came third; Tatler said she “applies a champion’s mindset to her wardrobe” with “TikTok-approved Y2K ensembles” and “the cutest coveted handbags”.
Gjin Lipa, brother of pop star Dua Lipa, placed fifth for his appearance in “skater tees and leather” at the Brit Awards afterparty in February, with Tatler questioning whether he is bringing “swag” back. Actress and model Hannah Dodd, known for Netflix's Bridgerton, placed 10th for her bold outfits that “steal the scene”.
