Princess Catherine arrived at Wimbledon on Saturday looking radiant in a red belted top and pleated midi skirt for the Ladies Singles Final. The Princess of Wales, who serves as patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, will present the trophy on Centre Court to the winner of the all-Czech final between No. 10 seed Karolina Muchova and No. 9 seed Linda Noskova.
Royal Attendance and Match Details
The princess attended without her husband, Prince William, or their children, and watched the match from the Royal Box. Before the match, she held a short meet-and-greet with the players. The two finalists have faced each other once before and were doubles partners at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Previous Wimbledon Visit
This is Catherine's second visit to Wimbledon this year. Earlier, she watched Arthur Fery play his second-round match against Otto Virtanen. During that visit, she sat in the crowd alongside Deborah Jevans, chairwoman of the AELTC, and former British tennis number one Tim Henman. Their conversation was recorded for a special edition of "Overheard at Wimbledon," a social media series capturing audience comments and reactions during the tournament.
The conversation showcased Catherine's impressive tennis knowledge and also touched on the Three Peaks challenge she recently completed for The Royal Marsden charity. It is likely the princess will also attend Wimbledon tomorrow.
