Princess Anne Issues 8-Word Warning to Prince Harry and William
Princess Anne Warns Harry and William in 8 Words

Princess Anne believes the rift between Prince William and Prince Harry needs to come to an end, a source claims. The unnamed source told the National Examiner that the Princess Royal, 76, thinks all those involved in the feud should take responsibility for it.

Anne's Eight-Word Warning

They said Anne's view is that they need to be brought into line and told, in an eight-word warning: "This nonsense has gone on far too long." King Charles's sister is also said to be willing to help William and Harry settle their differences.

Anne reportedly feels the Prince of Wales and Duke of Sussex should treasure every moment they have with their father, who continues to be treated for an undisclosed form of cancer.

Harry and Meghan's Visit to the King

The King's sister is said to be happier with Harry, who is reportedly more open to "fixing things" than William, the source claimed. During their visit to the UK in July, Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, took their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to see the King for the first time in four years at his Highgrove home.

The meeting between Charles and the Sussexes has been widely interpreted as a sign of a thawing in relations between the King and Harry. But some royal commentators still suggest the relationship between William and Harry continues to be strained while others say the Prince of Wales's focus is elsewhere.

History of the Rift

Their apparent rift has reportedly been on and off since 2018. William was said to have been concerned by the speed of Harry and Meghan's relationship. Harry told ITV in 2019 that "stuff happens", the siblings will always be so and while the pair were on "different paths" he would "always be there" for William.

The royal brothers have nevertheless appeared to put differences aside on occasion, including at the late Queen's funeral and outside the gates of Windsor Castle after Elizabeth II's death.

Recent Developments

Claims about what Princess Anne thinks of the situation come amid further reports that Meghan feels Harry should not be the only one to apologise in order to repair relations. Meanwhile, recent updates suggest the King's health is moving in a positive direction.

Queen Camilla revealed this week that she knew about her husband's cancer diagnosis only days before it was publicly announced. The Queen said she found it difficult not to talk about Charles's condition when she visited a cancer centre during that period. Camilla said she was "longing" to talk about her husband's diagnosis when she opened a Maggie's cancer support centre at the Royal Free Hospital in London a week before the announcement, but knew she couldn't.
