Princess Andre has spoken of her relief after her parents, Katie Price and Peter Andre, finally brought an end to their long-running feud. The former couple, who were married for four years before their split in 2009, have signed a legal agreement promising not to speak negatively about each other.
In a new interview, the 18-year-old said she was happy that both her parents had agreed to move forward on good terms. She told The Sun's Fabulous magazine that it was a relief for herself and her brother Junior to know that life would be easier for everyone, adding that it would be nice to stop being asked about their parents' issues. "Not everything people see online is true, so hopefully this is a good way to clear up the rumours," she said.
The truce was announced earlier this month when Katie and Peter released their first joint statement in over a decade. The statement, posted by Katie on Instagram and later shared by Peter, said they had decided to "close the door on the past" and move forward with positivity and respect. It confirmed a mutual agreement, both legally and personally, that neither would speak negatively about the other going forward, and emphasised their commitment to creating a calm and supportive environment for their children.
The feud had previously intensified over Princess's own reality show, with Katie claiming she had been painted as the "baddie" and excluded from the project. Princess denied any rift with her mother, saying the show was about her, not her parents. Peter later responded to what he called "repeated lies" from his ex-wife over sixteen years.
Now, the pair are moving on with their lives. Peter is focusing on his marriage and family with his wife Doctor Emily, while Katie is currently spending time in Dubai with her fourth husband, Lee Andrews.
