Katie Price has revealed that her daughter Princess Andre was left enraged after losing out on a lucrative career opportunity, despite constant advice from her mum.
The 19-year-old has been carving out a name for herself in the entertainment industry, following in the footsteps of her mum and dad, Peter Andre. But while Katie, 48, shot to fame as a glamour model under the name Jordan, Princess is keen to ensure that she doesn't venture into a similar industry. However, this has come with some setbacks as Katie has now disclosed that her daughter missed out on a huge work opportunity.
Katie's return to the catwalk
Last week, Katie returned to the catwalk at London Fashion Week after a decade, walking in the OnlyFans x Natasha Zinko show at the Collins Music Theatre. "Same old story, because it had OnlyFans on it, she can't do it," Katie said of her daughter taking part.
During the latest episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show, she went on to add: "I said to Princess, 'Number one, I always say to her, 'sex sells'. It was all fashion TVs from different places."
Speaking of returning to the catwalk, she said: "It was unbelievable, it was such a good experience. You know when I did the Diesel campaign? It was completely different to that. Behind the scenes, just all the chaos: models getting changed, hair, makeup, lots of people walking around with video cameras filming while you're just standing there. It was absolutely f***ing brilliant! To the point, I'd love to do it more."
Princess's regret
Katie later said that Princess was "p****ed off" that she didn't participate in the fashion show. "She's like 'That's another thing I regret doing'," Katie told her sister, Sophie.
She continued: "But she did have a go at her agent; she showed me the voice notes saying, 'I told you I should have done it!' – and they're like 'We don't tell you what to do, we just advise you.' She did have a go at them to be fair."
OnlyFans encouragement
While Katie has turned her fortune around thanks to the subscription platform OnlyFans, this isn't something her daughter wants to consider, despite Katie's encouragement. Princess, whose second series of The Princess Diaries aired earlier this year, has previously expressed her discomfort with glamour modelling, particularly during her catwalk debut in Ibiza last year, when she admitted to feeling "so uncomfortable" wearing a bikini top. However, her mum thinks her "mini me" should sign up for OnlyFans and pose in her "underwear and swimwear".
Speaking about encouraging Princess, Katie previously told The Sun: "Princess is just a mini me apart from she doesn't do the glamour side, but I always say, 'Princess, you would do so good on OnlyFans. You don't have to show nothing. You could be so good in just underwear and swimwear'." However, Princess is not interested as she replied: "Mum, I'm not you!"
But OnlyFans isn't Katie's only way to make cash from racy content. She also has her digital twin, Jordan, available on Oh Chat. At the time of launching her collaboration with the platform, Price said: "I couldn't be more excited to collaborate with OhChat and bring back the iconic Jordan, someone who I hold near and dear to my heart, and who my fans have been asking to see again."
