Princess Andre, the 18-year-old daughter of Katie Price and Peter Andre, has spoken about the challenges of growing up without her father around. In an interview promoting her new ITV2 reality show, The Princess Diaries, she described her childhood home as “a really scary house” and admitted that not having her dad present was difficult.
The reality star, who first appeared on TV as a baby in Katie & Peter: The Baby Diaries, said she feels self-conscious about her family’s public divorce. Her parents split in 2009, and she has since lived primarily with her mother. Princess noted that while she loves both parents, the absence of her father during her upbringing was hard to deal with.
In the show, Princess shares her ambitions to become a successful businesswoman, following in her mother’s footsteps. However, she said she would not consider topless modelling, which her mother did at the same age. “That’s not as popular nowadays and it just doesn’t appeal to me,” she explained.
Princess also addressed the pain of social media, saying it can be overwhelming. She revealed that she often Snapchats rather than Instagrams, as it feels more private. Despite the scrutiny, she remains focused on her goals: “I just want to be successful and be able to provide for my future and my family when I have one.”
