Katie Price has suggested that her daughter Princess Andre could appear on Love Island, just as the teenager's two-year relationship comes to an end. Princess, 17, has reportedly split from her partner, with the couple said to have grown apart.
The reality TV star, 47, discussed the possibility during a recent episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show, with her sister Sophie. Price revealed that she has been encouraging her daughter to apply for the ITV2 dating show, telling listeners: "I keep saying to Princess 'Why don't you do Love Island?'"
According to Price, Princess was hesitant about the idea, worried that she would be labelled a "Love Islander". Price recalled her daughter's response: "No … because otherwise I'll be known as a Love Islander." She added that she reassured Princess, saying: "No, you won't. Everyone knows you anyway."
The split, reported earlier today, was described as "tough" by a source, who said there were "no hard feelings". Princess had kept the relationship private, and the source noted that she is now focusing on her career. The news comes as ITV confirmed the new series of Love Island will launch on 9 June.
