Princess Andre Condemns 'Awful' Trolls Targeting Katie Price's Weight

Princess Andre has launched a powerful defence of her mother, Katie Price, after the reality star faced a barrage of cruel online comments about her weight. The 18-year-old daughter of Katie Price and Peter Andre expressed her dismay at the "awful" remarks left by some followers on social media, which she says have discouraged her from posting more content with her mum.

Shopping Trip Video Sparks Negative Comments

Earlier this year, Princess shared a mini vlog on her Instagram and TikTok accounts documenting a fun mother-daughter shopping trip in central London with Katie, who is 47. While the day out was meant to showcase their close bond, some online users responded with harsh criticism directed at Katie's appearance, with one particularly cruel comment labelling her a "walking skeleton."

"Me and mum went out shopping and it was such a good day out, we had so much fun, then the amount of comments [on the video] about how she looks... I've never seen anything like it," Princess revealed in a recent interview, highlighting the stark contrast between their joyful experience and the negative online reaction.

Protective Daughter Questions Right to Comment

While acknowledging that there has been genuine concern from fans about Katie's weight in recent months—with Katie herself booking a doctor's appointment to investigate her weight loss—Princess made it clear that the trolling comments crossed a line. "I understand she looks skinny, we've all told her, but what gives you the right to comment on someone's appearance?" she questioned pointedly in her conversation with The Sun.

The budding reality star, whose own television series is set to release a second season, explained that the negative feedback has had a tangible impact on her social media behaviour. "When I get that sort of feedback on videos of me and my Mum, it just makes me want to not post her and not show people how much fun we actually have," she admitted, underscoring how online abuse can stifle genuine sharing.

Family Dynamics and Future Appearances

Despite the trolling, Princess confirmed that her mum does feature in her reality TV series, though not physically in the upcoming second season. She also teased a potential reunion between her parents in future episodes, following their recent decision to call a truce after a nine-year bitter fallout.

"You'll still see mum and dad in it, just not physically. But the good thing is now my parents have come out with this agreement to be fine, so hopefully season three they will actually be in it. It's so good as now there's just no issues," Princess told the Mirror, referencing the surprising joint statement released by Katie and Peter earlier this year.

That statement announced their mutual agreement to "close the door on the past and move forward into a new chapter with positivity and respect," emphasising their focus on creating a calm and supportive environment for their children. It concluded with a plea for understanding from both the media and the public as they strive to stand united for their family.

Princess's emotional defence highlights the ongoing challenges celebrities face with online trolling, particularly when it targets personal appearance, and underscores the protective bond between mother and daughter in the public eye.
