Prince William 'Furious' Over King Charles' Meeting With Harry and Meghan
Prince William Furious Over King Charles' Meeting With Harry and Meghan

Prince William was reportedly left furious after King Charles reunited with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at Highgrove House last week, with royal insiders suggesting the meeting has further strained relations between the brothers.

King Charles Hosts Sussexes at Highgrove

King Charles and Queen Camilla hosted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, along with their children Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, on Friday, July 10, at the King's private country residence in Gloucestershire. The meeting marked a rare family gathering amid ongoing tensions within the royal family.

According to TalkTV host Mark Dolan, Prince William, 44, was deeply angered by the reunion. "It's my understanding that William is furious about this. Why? Because it's a reward for the treachery, the disloyalty, and the cruelty of Harry and Meghan," Dolan told Sky News host Paul Murray. He acknowledged Charles's desire to see his grandchildren but argued that Harry and Meghan had "no right to be on a royal property, but they got their way as usual."

Harry's Legal Setback and Meghan's Low Profile

The reunion came amid a difficult week for Prince Harry, who lost his lawsuit against the Daily Mail's publisher, Associated Newspapers Ltd (ANL). All 14 of Harry's claims for different articles were dismissed. Meghan reportedly arrived in the UK on July 9, two days after Harry, accompanied by their children. However, she maintained a low profile throughout the visit.

Journalist Paula Froelich claimed that Meghan stayed private because Harry lost the case. "She stayed private because he lost," Paula told Sky News presenter Danica De Giorgio. "Had he won on anything, Meghan would have been by his side." Froelich added that the original plan was for Meghan to attend the Invictus Games in Birmingham and visit hospitals with Harry, but she withdrew after the legal defeat.

Froelich argued that Meghan avoided public appearances because she "didn't want to be booed," suggesting her popularity in the UK is at an all-time low. "She didn't want to be embarrassed, but you have to wonder, if I was married and my husband had the worst week of his life in 30 years, wouldn't you want to be by his side?" Froelich said.

Reconciliation With William Appears Distant

Although Harry, 41, reunited with his father, a reconciliation with Prince William now appears more distant than ever. The meeting at Highgrove has reportedly deepened the rift between the brothers, with William viewing the encounter as a betrayal of the trust that was broken by Harry and Meghan's earlier actions. The future of the royal family's unity remains uncertain as tensions continue to simmer behind palace walls.
