Post Malone's fiancee Christy Lee has said she was “speechless” when the US rapper proposed, describing it as “the most special moment of my life.”
The 31-year-old singer, real name Austin Richard Post, has been romantically linked to the stylist since 2025. The pair sparked engagement rumours earlier this month after social media posts shared by friends showed Lee flaunting an engagement ring and wearing a “Bride To Be” sash while sitting on Post's lap.
Intimate proposal at Utah ranch
In an interview with Vogue, Lee confirmed that Post proposed during an intimate ceremony at his ranch in Utah, surrounded by friends and family. The fashion publication shared snaps from the celebrations, with Lee showing off her ring and cuddled up with her fiance.
Recounting the proposal, Lee said: “Austin first surprised me with a baby Highland cow, bunnies, and chickens. He had planned the most beautiful intimate dinner at the ranch, with another surprise waiting for me – my best friends and parents were all there.”
Custom-made ring details
Lee told the magazine that Post proposed toward the end of dinner, leading her to an arch of greenery and florals as he popped the question with a custom-made ring. “There was something so special about being at our ranch, surrounded by the people we love most and all of our new little animals,” she added. “The whole evening felt incredibly intimate and personal. It was the most special moment of my life, and I'm so happy to be able to share a little piece of it with Vogue.”
Lee also revealed that, ahead of the proposal, the rapper “started casually slipping these very 'hypothetical' questions about rings into conversation” to design her dream ring. She added that he asked if there was such a thing as a ring being too big, and she said: “I jokingly told him I didn't think so.”
Speechless over the ring
The chart-topping rapper, known for hits such as Rockstar, Fortnight and Circles, proposed with a custom, 20-plus-karat, natural, oval diamond ring on a delicate gold band, created with Angel City Jewellers.
“When I saw it, I was honestly speechless,” Lee said. “He had somehow taken all of those little conversations and created exactly what I would have chosen for myself.” She went on to say it is “incredibly sweet” to know how much thought and effort went into her ring, adding: “It feels incredibly special knowing how much thought went into every detail.”
