Peter Andre and Katie Price's tumultuous marriage has been thrust back into the spotlight after a clip from their 2009 reality series resurfaced in a new documentary. The footage, featured in the Sky documentary Katie Price: Nothing to Hide, shows the couple engaged in a vicious argument while shopping in Los Angeles.
During the row, which originally aired on Katie & Peter: The Next Chapter, Price is heard telling Andre: 'No one knows who you f***ing are and you're an old f***ing singer, no one knows about.' Andre retorts: 'You stupid arrogant little f***ing cow. You stuck up diva. How f***ing dare you speak to me like that.'
Price's mother, Amy, recalls the incident in the documentary, saying: 'They were in the shop, and Kate struck up a conversation with the guy that worked in the shop. Pete was sort of saying, you know, he doesn't know who you are you stupid cow.'
The couple, who met on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! and were married from 2005 to 2009, have two children together, Junior and Princess. Both have said that filming in LA marked the beginning of the end of their marriage.
Andre provided a statement for the documentary, saying: 'I have chosen not to speak publicly about these matters out of love and respect for Junior and Princess. Today Katie and I maintain an amicable relationship in the interests of our children. I sincerely wish her happiness and peace for the future.'
Katie Price: Nothing to Hide is a four-part series produced by Louis Theroux's Mindhouse production team, airing on Sky and NOW from 8 July.
