Peter Andre has said his wife Emily MacDonagh transformed him for the better, giving him peace and a calm nature he did not have when he was younger. The singer, 53, has been married to Emily, 37, for 11 years, with the pair insisting they have never experienced a major row despite bringing up three children together.
Peter confessed he is a completely different character from the man he was during the 1990s, when his world centred around clubbing and he was a smoker and drinker. He attributes Emily with helping him become more laid-back, especially regarding fatherhood.
A shift in parenting style
Peter revealed his parenting style has shifted dramatically through the years, contrasting how firm he was with his eldest offspring Junior, 21, and Princess, 19 – from his former marriage to Katie Price – with how he handles his youngest daughter, Arabella, two.
"If I think about how strict I was with Junior compared to how I am with Arabella – I'm so soft now," he told The Sun. "I'm much more chill as a dad."
Emily added that maintaining their relationship's serenity has been crucial to them, clarifying that while they do squabble, neither resorts to raising their voice.
New podcast and family life
The duo have now welcomed supporters deeper into their domestic world with their fresh podcast At Home With The Andres, where they explore marriage, child-rearing and existence with their youngsters. Peter and Emily are also parents to Millie, 12, and Theo, nine.

Get Me Out Of Here in 2004, with their bond swiftly blossoming into romance. Yet since their acrimonious split, the former couple have remained embroiled in a bitter feud that has frequently erupted across social media platforms.
Past marriage and public feud
They wed at Highclere Castle in Hampshire in September 2005, though their union crumbled four years later. Their marital collapse became a central plotline on their reality TV programme. Katie has subsequently opened up about how gruelling that chapter proved for her.
In her recent documentary Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, she characterised her relationship with Peter as "the best time of my life" before acknowledging that circumstances ultimately soured. Her sister Sophie also looked back on how overwhelming matters became, branding the relationship as "toxic".
Katie has previously revealed the collapse of her marriage left her shattered and that she and Peter had never properly sat down together to discuss what happened. There have also been disputes over the circumstances surrounding their breakdown, including claims that Katie had an affair with her dressage trainer Andrew Gould. Katie has denied the affair.

Over 15 years since their divorce, Peter and Katie seem to be moving towards a more harmonious relationship. The ex-couple have been striving to co-parent their two grown-up children, Junior and Princess, with reports suggesting a more positive dynamic between them after years of strain.
Earlier this year, they jointly declared that they were putting their acrimonious past behind them, pledging never to speak ill of each other again - or risk breaching a new legal agreement in their first joint statement since their marital split. We are both focused on creating a calm and supportive environment for our children."
