Former TOWIE star Pete Wicks was knocked unconscious after falling and hitting his head on a coffee table on Christmas Day. He recounted the incident on the Staying Relevant podcast with friend Sam Thompson, explaining that he woke up to his dog Eric licking his face and a wax burn on his eye from candles on the table.
Wicks said the fall left his face 'swollen and pink', and he did not leave his house from Christmas Day until New Year's Eve as a result. The injury also removed skin from his eyelid and under his eye.
In the same podcast episode, Sam Thompson revealed he has a cyst on his vocal cords and plans to have surgery, which will require three days of vocal rest. According to the NHS, vocal cord nodules are non-malignant swellings that can form when the vocal cords are used with excessive force over a long period.
Thompson also shared that he has a new girlfriend, Talitha Balinska, and confirmed they became official in December 2025. He dismissed rumours of trouble after a solo photo with his cat sparked speculation, later posting a selfie with Balinska and a heart emoji.
