Pete Wicks was knocked unconscious after a booze-fuelled fall on Christmas Day, leaving him with wax burns to his eye and a swollen face. The former TOWIE star detailed the incident on his podcast 'Staying Relevant' with friend Sam Thompson.
Wicks said he smashed his head on a coffee table and woke up to his dog Eric licking his face. He had candles on the table, and a wax burn across his eye removed skin from his eyelid and under his eye.
As a result, the reality star did not leave his house from Christmas Day until New Year's Eve because his face was 'quite swollen and pink.'
Co-host Sam Thompson also discussed his own health concerns on the podcast, revealing he has a cyst on his vocal cords and plans surgery that will require three days of vocal rest. Thompson also confirmed his new relationship with DJ and model Talitha Balinska.
