Perrie Edwards has returned to work less than a week after marrying Celtic midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The couple tied the knot in a quaint ceremony last week after a nine-year relationship, but the singer wasted no time getting back on stage.
Quick Return to Performances
The former Little Mix star performed at the Isle of Wight Festival on Friday, June 19, just six days after her wedding. Dressed in tight leather trousers, a graphic t-shirt, and a mesh corset, she entertained a lively crowd and expressed how "obsessed" she is with calling Alex her husband.
Solo Album and New Single
Edwards released her debut solo album, Perrie, last September, followed by her latest single Passenger Princess at the end of last month. With new music to promote, she now balances her career with married life.
Wedding Details
The couple celebrated with a pre-wedding party in Portugal before the ceremony at a quaint church in Quinta Do Lago. Edwards arrived in a white Mercedes convertible, wearing a lace-sleeved gown with an extra-long veil. She later changed into a crystal-embellished dress for the reception at Parrilla Natural restaurant.
Family and Guests
Guests included ex-Arsenal footballer Carl Jenkinson and Fulham's Harrison Reed. The couple's son Axel, 4, played a special role in the ceremony, while daughter Alanis Valentine, born in January, also attended. An insider told The Sun that the day was "truly beautiful" and full of joy.
