Peggy Gallagher, the mother of Noel and Liam Gallagher, has been pictured with Irish dance legend Michael Flatley at one of the Oasis reunion concerts in Dublin. Flatley shared the image on Instagram, thanking the brothers for tickets to the show at Croke Park.
The photograph marks the first public sighting of Peggy at the Oasis Live 25 tour, where she attended both Dublin dates over the weekend. During the Saturday night performance, Liam Gallagher dedicated the song 'Stand By Me' to his mother.
In a June interview, Peggy revealed she played a role in instigating the reunion between her sons, who had been estranged for years. 'I was the instigator, yes,' she said, adding that she was relieved to see them working together again.
Peggy has been spending time with both Noel and Liam ahead of the tour, including a holiday with Liam and his partner Debbie in the South of France earlier this year. Liam has previously credited his mother as a positive influence, describing her as both a mother and father figure.
Oasis now have a week off before continuing their world tour with dates in Toronto, Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. Meanwhile, security has been hired to protect Peggy's home in Manchester after fans began visiting the family's childhood house.
