Paris Fury has spoken publicly for the first time about her daughter Venezuela's engagement at the age of 16, revealing she encouraged her to wait but respected her decision. The wife of boxer Tyson Fury said: "I did encourage her to wait as long as possible, but she was determined." Venezuela became engaged to her boyfriend Noah, also a boxer, during her lavish 16th birthday party last month, with a video showing him proposing on one knee.
In an interview for the Sunday Mirror's Notebook magazine, Paris said: "We're all really happy for her and Noah—they're a great match and genuinely excited about this next chapter in her life. Yes, she's young, but as we all know, that's in line with our traditions and values. I was engaged to Tyson at 17, so we're not far off in age." Paris herself was 19 when she married Tyson, then 21, in 2008 in Doncaster, in front of more than 300 guests. The couple have seven children together, including their youngest, Rico, aged two.
Paris was speaking after being announced as the new face of the beauty brand Eternal Collagen. She said: "I have worked hard to lose the baby weight since Rico was born by training consistently, eating right and making the right choices in life. The collagen has really helped with bringing a glow back to my skin and keeping it tight and firm." She also discussed her wellness routine, which she said is usually quick but effective: "I've always been one for vitamins and skincare, but I'm usually quick—wash my face, put cream on, and get out the door. But it takes real character and dedication to stick into a marriage for the next 50, 60 years, as long as we're alive."
