Paloma Faith has reportedly moved on from her split with French artist Leyman Lahcine, finding love again in secret. The 42-year-old singer, who ended her relationship with Lahcine in 2022 after a decade together, is said to be dating a new partner away from the public eye.
Faith and Lahcine, who share two daughters born in 2016 and 2021, kept their relationship largely private throughout its duration. The singer has never confirmed whether they officially married, despite rumours of a secret wedding in 2017. She told the Independent in 2023: 'People think I’m married because they cannot believe that I’d have children with someone I’m not married to!'
The split, which Faith revealed in October 2023 had been kept secret for 18 months, was attributed to the challenges of parenthood. She explained tearfully: 'Becoming a mother was such a massively life-changing experience that for the first time in my life, I needed more than nothing – and the expandable foam just wasn’t there.'
Faith has channelled her heartache into her forthcoming sixth studio album, The Glorification Of Sadness, which she describes as 'a divorce album without the divorce.' The lead single, 'How You Leave A Man,' explores the end of her relationship with Lahcine.
Despite the new romance, Faith has indicated she plans to remain single for a while, focusing on her music and children. She has always been guarded about her personal life, often shunning questions about her romantic relationships.
