Paddy McGuinness is rumoured to have found love again following his split from wife Christine McGuinness. The comedian, 52, was spotted with BBC Radio 2 publicist Emma Carey during an outing in London on Thursday, with reports suggesting he's 'smitten'.
Outing in London
The rumoured romance comes after the Take Me Out presenter's split from wife of 11 years Christine, who remained living in their family home while co-parenting their three children. In photos obtained by The Sun, Emma can be seen with her arm around Paddy's back as they headed to luxury five-star Rosewood Hotel.
A source told the publication: 'Paddy looked so at ease with her. It was obvious they are incredibly comfortable together, and they laughed a lot. 'Fans will be thrilled to see him so happy after the anguish of his marriage split with Christine. 'It's easy to see why he's so smitten with Emma by his side. Paddy looked like the cat that got the cream.'
Separation announcement
Christine and Paddy announced their separation in 2022 shortly after their documentary, Our Family and Autism aired. 'We hadn't planned on sharing this publicly until we were ready but the lack of privacy surrounding our personal life, we feel left with no other option but to clarify,' they said in a joint statement. 'A while ago we took the difficult decision to separate but our main focus was as always is to continue loving and supporting our children. 'This was not an easy decision to make but we're moving forward as the best parents we can be for our three beautiful children. We'll always be a loving family, we still have a great relationship and still live happily in our family home together.'
'We hope this now draws a line under anymore unwanted and unnecessary intrusion into our private life. Although we work in the public eye we ask kindly if you could respect our wishes for privacy on this matter. We'll be making no further comment.'
Christine's love life
Since then, Christine has revealed she'd love to find a 'wife' but any marriage would be more of 'a blessing, a celebration of love' than anything legal. She was spotted with Chelcee Grimes, 33, while on vacation together after the split from Paddy. The two women never confirmed rumours they were dating but things appeared to have fizzled out by summer 2024. She was recently linked to Nicola Adams, 43, after being spotted together at the DIVA Awards.
