Oti Mabuse has announced she is pregnant with her second child. The former Strictly Come Dancing star joked that the happy news was a 'plot twist' as she made the announcement on social media.
Announcement Details
Oti and her husband Marius Iepur confirmed they are expecting another baby together, almost three years after they welcomed their first child into the world. To announce the news, professional dancer Oti shared photos of herself and Marius with their daughter, whose name hasn't been publicly shared, in front of a fireplace with a banner above reading 'Baby Number 2'.
The proud parents were laughing together as their two-year-old daughter reached up to her mother's bump. In another photo, Oti jokingly cradled her husband's belly. She then wrote in the caption on Instagram: 'Plot twist... We thought we had our hands full already, but life had even bigger plans. Baby No. 2 is joining the dance party, and our hearts (and house) are about to get a whole lot fuller. #babynumber2'

Her sister and Strictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse was quick to respond, as she commented on the post: 'We love you. Congratulations! The bigger the better.' Former Strictly It Takes Two host Zoe Ball commented: 'Ahhhh gorgeous news you guys. big love coming atcha,' while fellow dancer Gorka Marquez added: 'AMAZING NEWS GUYS'.
Previous Traumatic Birth Experience
In November 2023, Oti faced a traumatic childbirth as her daughter was born 10 weeks early with an infection and spent six weeks in intensive care at University College London Hospital. The Loose Women star was also diagnosed with gestational diabetes at 28 weeks pregnant, and she contracted sepsis - a life-threatening condition - following complications after the birth.
