On The Waterfront has returned for 2026, bringing four days of live music to Liverpool's iconic waterfront. The event kicked off on Thursday, June 18, and will run until Sunday, June 21, attracting thousands of music fans to the city.

Mod legend Paul Weller opened the festival on Thursday evening, with support from Miles Kane and Arkayla. Weller, known as 'The Modfather', has a rich musical history with The Jam, The Style Council, and his solo career, featuring hits like 'A Town Called Malice', 'That's Entertainment', and 'Wild Wood'.
