On The Waterfront has returned for 2026, bringing four days of live music to Liverpool's iconic waterfront. The event kicked off on Thursday, June 18, and will run until Sunday, June 21, attracting thousands of music fans to the city.
Paul Weller Opens the Festival
Mod legend Paul Weller opened the festival on Thursday evening, with support from Miles Kane and Arkayla. Weller, known as 'The Modfather', has a rich musical history with The Jam, The Style Council, and his solo career, featuring hits like 'A Town Called Malice', 'That's Entertainment', and 'Wild Wood'.
Fans Show Their Style
Fans embraced the mod aesthetic, sporting Fred Perry shirts, Adidas trainers, and classic mod haircuts. The ECHO captured some of the best outfits as concertgoers made their way to the waterfront.
