Olivia Culpo Expects Second Child Nine Months After First Baby

Former Miss Universe winner Olivia Culpo has announced she is expecting her second child with NFL star husband Christian McCaffrey, just nine months after the birth of their first baby.

The 34-year-old model and her 29-year-old husband, who have been together since 2019 and married in 2024, shared the joyful news on Friday, May 8, which also marked Culpo's 34th birthday.

In a joint Instagram post, the couple wrote: "Best birthday gift. Baby #2 coming soon." The announcement featured a series of family photos taken during a photoshoot with their daughter Colette, who turns one in July, along with their pet dog.

The first image showed the couple sharing a kiss while Colette rested on Culpo's lap, with the mother cradling her baby bump. Other photos captured the family enjoying a picnic in front of a scenic backdrop of rolling hills, with Colette holding an apple to her mouth while her parents sat beside a hamper of apples and scan photos.

One photo showed Culpo posing in a sheer white maxi dress against a sunset, while another depicted her feeding Colette with a bottle. A final video featured retro-style editing, showing the family showering each other and their puppy with affection, with Culpo cradling her growing bump throughout.

Culpo, who previously dated popstar Nick Jonas, had previously expressed concerns about her fertility due to her diagnosis of endometriosis. In a 2022 episode of the reality show Culpo Sisters, she said: "I want to have kids, but I want to make sure that I can. It could be really hard for me to have babies. Endometriosis can affect your fertility in a lot of different ways." She added that the condition could affect egg quality and scar fallopian tubes, leading her to feel she needed to have children "ASAP."

Culpo and McCaffrey married in 2024 at a 150-year-old chapel in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, honoring the San Francisco 49ers quarterback's wish to marry in a church. Culpo told Vogue at the time: "I tried to remind myself that this could very well be one of the last times Christian and I have every single one of our loved ones in one place." She wore a custom Dolce & Gabbana gown for the ceremony.
