Olivia Attwood and Kelly Osbourne were among the stars preparing for the 2026 BRIT Awards on Saturday evening. Olivia shared a glimpse of her pre-ceremony workout on Instagram, posing in a low-cut sports bra, while Kelly posted a picture from the makeup chair in her hotel suite, writing: "Time to get with the #GlamFam and get ready for the @brit.awards!" Her father Ozzy Osbourne is due to receive the Lifetime Achievement award.
Love Island host Maya Jama also made sure to fit in her exercise routine, sharing a bikini photo before a quick dip. "Brits dayyyy. What a coincidence the Brits move to Manchester when I do," she wrote. Jamie Laing uploaded a picture of his wife Sophie Habboo having her hair and makeup styled, while radio presenter Vick Hope, 36, applied a face mask to ensure her skin looked radiant under the cameras.
The ceremony takes place at its new home, Co-op Live in Manchester, and will be broadcast live on ITV and ITVX from 8:15pm, with Jack Whitehall returning as host. The winners will receive the BRITs trophy, this year designed by Manchester-born designer Matthew Williamson.
This year's awards feature a landmark 70 per cent of nominations going to female or non-binary artists. Rising star Lola Young and soulful singer Olivia Dean lead with five nominations each, while Lily Allen has earned three nods for her album West End Girl, inspired by her marriage breakdown to Stranger Things actor David Harbour. Allen is nominated for Artist Of The Year, Album Of The Year and Pop Act.
Lola, 24, is also shortlisted for Breakthrough Artist and Alternative/Rock Act. "Five BRIT nominations, how is this even possible? I've had this dream a thousand times," she said. Olivia Dean, 26, made history as the first woman since Adele in 2021 to top both UK singles and albums charts simultaneously, and will perform at the ceremony. Dave is recognised in three categories, while Raye, who won a record-breaking six awards last year, is nominated in just one category this time.
