Kim Kardashian's 13-year-old daughter, North West, has revealed she wants a 'regular job' at Starbucks, despite her music career progressing well. North, the daughter of reality star Kim and rapper Kanye West, released music earlier this year and has been performing at festivals.
North's Starbucks Ambition
Speaking to Dazed, North said: "I wanna work at, like, Starbucks next year. I think I can next year 'cause I'm gonna be 14, so… I think I can. I want to have a regular job, I guess."
Alongside this new ambition, North recently released her debut EP, N0rth4evr, and performed at the Rolling Loud festival earlier this year with rapper Molly Santana.
Festival Performance and Rehearsal
Discussing the collaboration, North said: "Molly was the perfect person to do this with me because I'm her biggest fan for real. Last year at Summer Smash I was screaming at her set; it's so crazy. I never thought that day would come."
She described the performance as "fun, relieving and exciting" and said she wished she had done it earlier. She added: "It's cool to show that females can connect through their music – because it's always beef and stuff, and it's never like that [with me]. I never wanna have beef with any girl, you know?"
North also spoke about a change in her approach to rehearsing, saying: "I used not to rehearse. I used to want to go out there and just see what happens. But I like dance rehearsing. So maybe just going to rehearsal, and then going to the studio; that's a perfect day. Or having a big show would be the most ideal day."
Fame and Paparazzi
Asked about being on camera given her parents' fame, North said: "I like taking pictures of myself, but I don't like when paparazzi do. When I just woke up and there's so much paparazzi, I'm like, 'Yo, I'm going to sue you.' If I'm ready, if I'm not tired, if my outfit's good, I'm like, 'Okay, I could take a picture.'"
When her mum asked what superpower she would choose, North said: "I always wanted to pause time. When I was in class one day last year, I was like, 'I want to pause time and get all my work done, and then run out of class and go to Starbucks, and then go around to Japan and then go everywhere!'"
