American singer-songwriter Noah Kahan has announced a huge Glasgow show, with the chart-topping star set to take over Hampden Park next summer. The Stick Season hitmaker will perform at the Glasgow stadium on July 13, 2027, as part of his The Last Of The Bugs world tour.
Three Stadium Shows in UK and Ireland
The Hampden date will be one of just three stadium shows the 29-year-old singer has announced for the UK and Ireland. Kahan is also set to perform at Dublin's Aviva Stadium on July 17 before finishing the run at London's Wembley Stadium on July 23.
Taking to Instagram to announce the stadium dates, Kahan wrote: "We'll be heading to Glasgow, Dublin, and London to play some big old rooms for the bugs across the Atlantic Ocean on The Last Of The Bugs World Tour in 2027.
"You can sign up on my tour site for the presale on Tuesday, August 25th at 10am local time. All tickets will be on sale Friday, August 28th at 10am local time."
This is only the first of the last of the bugs… stay tuned for more."
Fan Reaction and Upcoming Glasgow Shows
Taking to the comment section of the post, fans were thrilled with the news. One clearly excited Scottish fan said: "OMG a Scotland show, I neeeeed tickets now."
While another simply stated: "So excited!!!" along with multiple Scotland flag emojis.
This announcement will be particularly exciting for Scottish fans, with Kahan already set to return to Glasgow later this year. The two-time Grammy nominee will play two sold out shows at the OVO Hydro on November 5 and 6 this year, with Bella Kay joining him as support. His Hampden gig will therefore mark another major Glasgow show for the singer in just over six months.
