Nicole Kidman has been living 4,000 miles away from her husband Keith Urban for two months ahead of their reported split, according to sources. The actress spent that time in the UK filming Practical Magic 2 alongside Sandra Bullock, staying in a rented Hampstead mansion formerly owned by Boy George. The Grade II listed Gothic villa, costing £65,000 per month, features six bedrooms, interiors by Kelly Hoppen, and a meditation room.
Kidman has since returned to the US and is believed to be living at the family home in Nashville, a 12,000-square-foot estate purchased for $3.47 million in 2008. The property includes seven bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, a home cinema, swimming pool, and tennis courts. It is unclear what will become of the house amid divorce proceedings.
Reports suggest Urban initiated the split and has moved out to his own property in the Nashville area. The couple, married for 19 years, share two daughters, Sunday and Faith. Kidman also has two children, Bella and Connor, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
In July, Kidman submitted an application to Portugal's Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum (AIMA) and is reportedly house hunting in Cascais, a wealthy seaside area near Lisbon. Local media outlet SIC Notícias reported the news, suggesting Portugal may be her long-term destination.
