Brooklyn Beckham has publicly accused his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, of trying to control media narratives about the family and attempting to ruin his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz. In a series of Instagram Stories posts, the 27-year-old wrote that he does not want to reconcile with his family, stating he is standing up for himself for the first time in his life.
The allegations come after years of rumoured tension within the Beckham family, with reports of a fallout between Victoria and Nicola surfacing shortly after the couple's wedding in April 2022. While Brooklyn and Nicola previously denied family feud rumours, speculation continued, culminating in Brooklyn's recent statement. He accused his parents of 'controlling narratives in the press' and 'trying endlessly to ruin [his] relationship since before [his] wedding'.
Despite the public rift, David and Victoria marked Brooklyn's 27th birthday on March 3, 2026, with heartfelt social media posts. David shared a childhood photo of the family in a swimming pool, writing 'Happy birthday, Bust. We love you,' while Victoria posted a picture of herself with a toddler Brooklyn, adding 'I love you so much.'
The drama escalated in January 2026 when DJ Fat Tony, who performed at Brooklyn and Nicola's wedding, appeared on This Morning to describe an incident involving Victoria. He claimed that during a performance by Marc Anthony, the singer called Victoria to the stage for a dance, leaving Brooklyn 'devastated' as he had expected to share his first dance with Nicola. According to the DJ, Nicola left the room in tears, and the situation was 'really awkward for everyone in the room.' He added that 'not many people turned up to the brunch the next day' because of the upset.
The Beckham family have not publicly responded to Brooklyn's allegations, and representatives for David and Victoria have been contacted for comment.
