Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola have shared a series of photographs from their wedding renewal afterparty, days after hosting a lavish celebration at which none of Brooklyn's relatives were present.
The couple, who first married in 2022, renewed their vows on August 2 in Westchester County, US. Nicola wore her mother's 1985 wedding gown, while her father Nelson officiated the ceremony. No members of the Beckham family attended, with relatives reportedly learning of the event from a US website.
In the latest Instagram post, Nicola included images of herself with her parents, as well as pictures of the couple posing with champagne. The post drew criticism from some followers, with one asking 'And the Beckhams?' and another accusing the pair of 'taunting' David and Victoria.
Reports of a rift have persisted since Brooklyn and Nicola missed David Beckham's 50th birthday earlier this year. A source told The Sun that seeing Nelson take a pivotal role at the ceremony was 'heartbreaking for David especially', adding that the extended family are 'devastated' and feel they have 'lost their precious boy'.
The insider suggested the snub could signal a permanent break, questioning whether Brooklyn might drop the Beckham surname. Neither David, Victoria, nor any other member of the Beckham family has publicly commented on the renewal or the subsequent social media posts.
