Nick Cannon's Family Expansion: TV Host Welcomes 12th Child and Plans for More
Nick Cannon welcomes 12th child, plans for more

American television personality and media mogul Nick Cannon is once again making headlines, not for a new show, but for the continued expansion of his family. The 43-year-old host has officially confirmed the arrival of his 12th child, a new daughter with model Brittany Bell.

In a characteristically open discussion on his own talk show, The Nick Cannon Show, he revealed the baby's name is Halo Marie Cannon. This new arrival joins Cannon's large and growing brood, which includes twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey, and Golden, Powerful, and Rise with Bell.

A Father's Love and Future Plans

Far from signalling a slowdown, Cannon has been vocal about his desire to have even more children. He has expressed a philosophy of abundance when it comes to family, often stating his belief that he has "so much love to give." His approach to modern family life continues to fascinate and polarise the public in equal measure.

His family circle also includes twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with Abby De La Rosa, and a daughter, Beautiful Zeppelin, also with De La Rosa. Tragically, his son Zen, whom he shared with Alyssa Scott, passed away in 2021 from a brain tumour.

Navigating Public Scrutiny

Cannon's unconventional family life inevitably draws significant public and media attention. He has addressed this scrutiny head-on, acknowledging the unique dynamics while fiercely defending his capability as a provider and a present father to all his children.

Despite the complexity of managing relationships with multiple partners, Cannon maintains that his primary focus is on the well-being and happiness of his children, ensuring each one feels loved and supported.
