Nick Cannon has become a father for the 12th time, welcoming a daughter with model Alyssa Scott. The baby girl, named Halo Marie Cannon, was born on December 14, 2022. Alyssa announced the birth on Instagram, paying tribute to their late son Zen, who died in December 2021 at five months old.
Cannon, 42, already has 11 children with five different women. He shares Golden Sagon, Powerful Queen, and Rise Messiah with Brittany Bell; twins Zion and Zillion and Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa; Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi; Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole; and twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex-wife Mariah Carey.
The TV host has spoken about the challenges of balancing his large family. 'Being a father of multiple kids, it’s always the biggest guilt on me, is that I don’t get to spend enough time with all my children,' he said on Paramount+’s The Checkup with Dr. David Agus. He cited constant work and being 'spread thin' as reasons.
Reports suggest Cannon may be paying up to $3 million (£2.5 million) annually in child support. Despite the costs, he has expressed a desire for more children, joking that he feels like a real-life Father Christmas delivering presents to his kids overnight.
