Brazilian football legend Neymar was spotted cruising around Universal Orlando Resort on a mobility scooter on Thursday, just days after Brazil were knocked out of the World Cup by Norway. The former Barcelona star, who holds the record as Brazil's all-time top goal scorer with 80 goals, was seen at the resort on 9 July 2026, following Brazil's 2-1 defeat to Norway in the round of 16.
Neymar's Retirement and Mobility Scooter Sighting
Neymar declared his retirement from international football after Brazil's World Cup exit. In a video obtained by Sell Us Your Story, he is seen wearing grey shorts, a black and white t-shirt, a hat, and sunglasses while driving the scooter. An onlooker told the outlet: "No one really cottoned on to the fact it was him at first, and then he got mobbed. I've no idea why he was on the scooter - but it was scorching hot."
England's World Cup Progress
The sighting comes as England secured a 2-1 win over Norway on Saturday to book a fourth World Cup semi-final appearance. It will be the seventh time England have played in the semi-finals of a major tournament, not including the 1968 European Championship when only four teams qualified for the finals. Argentina also advanced, overcoming a 10-man Switzerland 3-1 in extra time in Kansas City to set up a semi-final clash with England.
